Following overwhelming feedback on the 2015 inaugural edition, Genworth launched the second edition of its first homebuyer magazine It’s My Home on the 24th February. The magazine provides a handy guide for those navigating the homebuying process for the first time and can be found at most major brokerages across Australia and on the Genworth website. The intimate launch event was attended by Genworth’s lender, aggregator and broker customers and industry partners, and provided an opportunity for guests to talk and mingle with the contributors.
Edition two contains information explaining how prospective homebuyers can get into their home sooner and with less than a 20 per cent deposit, as well as a step-by-step guide on buying property. Other articles include an updated state-by-state stamp duty guide and a look at some of the types of lending institutions available and the benefits they provide.
Lifestyle pieces from celebrities like Alisa and Lysandra, share their tips on how to furnish a new home. Chef Bill Granger has the perfect recipes for a house warming, along with tips from party maestro Alex Zabotto-Bentley.
